OCT 11, 2015 (Proverbs 3:25,26)

Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes: for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught (Prov 3:25,26).

Life is filled with the unexpected. This proverb as well as Paul’s warning (Ephesians 6:12) tells us to be prepared “when” the day of evil comes. It’s not a matter of “if” but rather “when” trouble comes from the wicked to those who’ve committed their lives to the lordship of Christ Jesus. Indeed trouble if not sudden terror will come in one form or another.. Such is why Jesus warns sternly concerning our not denying Him lest He deny us before the Father and angels in heaven. Unless there is a genuinely deep confidence in the Lord, knowing without doubt that He will never leave us nor forsake us, our walk will be in danger of being caught up into evil.
